Super Meat Boy is a platform game where you play as a live piece of meat called Meat Boy, who must save Meat Boy’s girlfriend Bandage Girl who got kidnapped by the antagonist of the game Dr. Fetus. The game is divided into chapters with over 300 levels. Players attempt to reach each level, represented by Bandage Girl while avoiding crumbling blocks, saw blades, and various other fatal obstacles. Players can sprint and jump on platforms and slide or jump off walls. The game has a Boss stage in each chapter that has to be defeated in order to move on to the next chapter however the player is not required to complete every level. Players are only requred to complete a certain number of levels to get access to the Boss stage.
